Justin Antoniotti

Justin Antoniotti is President and General Manager of KMBC-TV (ABC) and KCWE-TV (CW), Hearst Television’s Kansas City affiliates. A veteran of nearly 30 years in local television journalism, Justin has led award-winning newsrooms across the country, including Texas, South Carolina, Vermont, and Pennsylvania, where his teams earned multiple Peabody Awards and regional Edward R. Murrow Awards for overall excellence, investigative reporting, and storytelling.

Justin decided he wanted to be a news director at the age of 10—despite being unable to read at the time due to undiagnosed dyslexia. Thanks to early advocacy and one-on-one instruction, he overcame what he once saw as a roadblock. Today, he credits dyslexia as his “secret weapon,” fueling his creativity, problem-solving abilities, and resilience in a fast-paced, deadline-driven industry.

A proud graduate of the University of Missouri School of Journalism, Justin is thrilled to be in Kansas City—a city that holds personal meaning for him and his family.
