Bob “Butterbean” Love

Mr. Love struggled with stuttering most of his life and went from a Chicago Bulls superstar (playing eight seasons and was a three-time NBA All-Star) to a low-paid dishwasher nearly overnight.  After refusing to give up, he fought back with the help of a speech pathologist and is now the Community Relations Director for the Bulls and one of the most inspirational speakers today.

In 2010, Bob Love’s true-life story will be told in the feature film “Butterbean”, set to be directed by Mark Ellis (whose credits include “We Are Marshall”, “Invincible”, and “Any Given Sunday”).
