Hi friends and family!

As many of you are aware my youngest, Ethan, has ADHD, Anxiety and Learning Disabilities. He went to public school for awhile and was struggling. Brian and I began researching different options and found Horizon Academy. We signed Ethan up for summer school and by the end of the session we were hooked - we knew this was the place he needed to be!

Horizon has truly been amazing. Ethan LOVES going to school and feels accomplished. He talks (and talks) about his day at dinner which is something he never use to do. Ethan has begun to advocate for himself in class thanks to the support of his teachers and other staff. We are seeing improvements - slow and steady - which is so exciting!!! Ethan never wanted to read - it was a fight. Now, he wants to and was thrilled when he got his first chapter book!

Ethan's classes only have nine to ten students which really provides him with the individual attention he as well as other students need. His day is similar to other schools including art and gym as well as the added benefit of mindfulness, brain breaks and scheduled social learning by the counseling department.

So, I started this page in the hope to raise money for the school scholarship fund which helps student's like Ethan attend Horizon. Won't you please consider a donation?

With love, peace and thanks - Jodi, Brian, Aidan and Ethan!
